Northern California San Francisco Bay Area Camera Car. The team makes the difference
The Freefly MōVI XL is a more powerful motorized gimbal than the Movi Pro. It has a a max weight capacity of 50 pounds. The Raptor Twin Z Arm is designed to remove high frequency vibrations and dampens low frequency oscillations when shooting from moving platforms. It will accommodate payloads up to 90lb. It is a finely balanced system of adjustable springs and hydraulic dampeners. The Raptor ISO Dampener is designed with two dampeners with high-speed steel bearings for each axis. This increases the efficiency of gimbal heads by reducing rotational stress and smoothes out pan errors by isolating high frequency vibrations between the mount & head. The vibration isolator helps dampen vibrations by isolating shock away from the camera via a set of shock modules. It helps remove high-frequency vibrations and dampens low-frequency oscillations.
The Freefly MōVI Pro is a motorized gimbal stabilizer that steadies cameras weighing up to 15 pounds. The Black arm is a 3-axis dampening system with an additional vibration mount for stabilizing roll and tilt errors as well as vertical motion and vibrations. To reduce the problem of a pan motor going into self oscillation, this design allows the system to reduce a great deal of incoming vibrations, while at the same time keeps the gimbal in check from jittering around the pan axis.
The Rigshaw has lots of options for mounting stabilizers and gimbals. It is shown with the Panther Bazooka riser, XYZ isolator and the Freefly MōVI XL. Another option is the Flowcine Blackarm, tranquilizer, and Freefly MōVI Pro.
